Hrithik Roshan was snapped leaving his residence in Juhu to appear before Mumbai Crime Branch. The actor was reportedly summoned by the Crime Intelligence Unit of the Crime Branch to record his statement in 2016’s online impersonation case against Kangana Ranaut.
Actor Hrithik Roshan left on Saturday morning to head to the Mumbai Crime Branch office to record his statement in the online impersonation case dated back to 2016 against Kangana Ranaut. The case pertains to e-mail communication that was exchanged between Kangana and Hrithik back in 2016. The actor was snapped leaving his residence in Juhu this morning to head to record his statement in the matter. In the photos, the actor can be seen sitting behind the front passenger seat. However, the actor’s face is not visible.
Reportedly, Hrithik was summoned by the Crime Intelligence Unit of the Mumbai Crime Branch to share his side with them. The actor had to appear at 11 Am on Saturday. It was in 2016 that the Krrish actor had reportedly registered a complaint that someone was pretending to be him and exchanging emails with Kangana from a fake ID. Reportedly, Kangana had mentioned that the E-mail ID had been provided by the actor himself and that they had been communicating via it since 2014.
Yesterday, after reports had come in that Hrithik had been summoned to record his statement, Kangana reacted to it on her Twitter handle. She referred to the actor as ‘silly ex’ in her tweet. She wrote, “Duniya kahan se kahan pahunch gayi magar mera silly ex abhi bhi waheen hai usi modh pe jahan yeh waqt dobara laut ke nahi jane wala …”
Take a look at the photos:
The War actor had also gone ahead to deny any relationship with the actress back in 2016 when she had referred to him as ‘silly ex.’ Hrithik had even sent a legal notice over it to Kangana. The actor reportedly had alleged that the Queen actress had sent her several emails. The police had intervened and recorded Kangana’s statement in the matter as well. It was later in December 2020, that the case was transferred to the CIU (Crime Intelligence Unit) at the request of the actor’s lawyer.
