After Telugu period drama Dorasani (2019) and his second film Middle-Class Melodies (MCM), Anand Deverakonda begins his next titled, Pushpaka Vimanam. Vijay Deverakonda took to Twitter and shared the first look from his brother’s upcoming film. He tweeted, “Presenting the first look of #PushpakaVimanam! The younger boy continues to find talent and pick interesting stuff.. very happy to be associated with this film as Presenter! A dark comedy, some thrills, and lots of laughs coming your way!.”
In his next tweet, VD wrote, “Congratulations to the entire team, you have now officially taken off.” Anand Deverakonda’s next film is being directed by Damodar. According to reports, Anand will be seen as a government school teacher while Sunil and Naresh will be seen playing important roles in the film.
Earlier, in an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Anand made some candid revelations. Anand, during the interview, shared that he has been compared with his brother Vijay Deverakonda in the past and as an actor, he is ready for comparisons.
“I have faced comparisons and criticism you are talking about…Some of them gave it constructively, which I take and learn from but most of them come from really negative places, especially on social media. I have faced it and I’m ready for the comparisons as an actor but I don’t think they should be comparing Vijay Vs Anand Deverakonda,” said Anand who made his acting debut with 2019’s Dorasaani.
